Training

One of our core strengths is training far beyond the basics necessary to establish oneself in the field. Shaw Electric offers a wide variety of training regimens for employees seeking self-improvement and self-fulfillment. This self-motivated aspect of advancement is one we encourage. By expanding individual capabilities, the overall performance of the entire company is enhanced and refreshed continuously. By strengthening our capabilities from within, we strengthen our reputation as a leader among Quad City Electricians. Here are some additional examples of training programs.

Shaw offers classes in Arc Flash Training, NEC code update classes and Apprenticeship program through ABC of Iowa, a nationwide organization that hosts classes in the training of 1st through 4th year apprentices as they make their way toward the level of Journeyman Electrician.

Management training through Dale, Carnegie, Accubid and others. Shaw employees take advantage of these programs because they know how important it is to be future driven – never being satisfied to do just enough to get by. Our customers deserve the best we have to offer. By setting personal and corporate goals above the norm, our best keeps getting better.

Training is another way Shaw Electric is Wired for the Future.
